To the Pumpkin Patch for Squash

Judah and I braved the weather and headed to the pumpkin patch. We met up with two kiddo’s (w/mama’s) from our neighborhood. The kids romped through the patch and the puddles. I had one muddy kid on my hands. Which was awesome! For some reason Judah loved the squash. I kept trying to get him to pick out a pumpkin, but he wanted squash. After much playing with the squash, I finally got him to pick a pumpkin. A beautiful 6 pounder! I told him that he could bring home what ever he could carry. It was a great day!

  1. Lins, TOO CUTE! What a fun day! Looks like you will have lots of fun cleaning those little jeans… πŸ™‚ Oh the joys of having boys!

  2. i have to agree with kelley that there are certain “joys”that go with having boys. mud, dirt, bugs, wrestling…i love it! going to the pumpkin patch is one of my most favorite things to do…especially with my little boys! sad, they don’t really have pumpkin patches here in arizona. 😦 i keep hearing everyone say it is too early to get pumpkins yet because they will rot in 3 days in the hot arizona sun! i think it is soo cute that he liked the squash better than the pumpkins! he want to be unique and stand out from the crowd. maybe he will be an artist….or a musician! πŸ˜‰
