A Happy Day

We celebrated Harper’s birthday last weekend. It was a fun day full of good friends, food, and bugs!

As Harper requested, I attempted bug cupcakes.

Goodie bags full of bug catching tools.

Emary and Mimi. Aren’t they cute?

It was a very fun day. I know that Harper had a great time and felt very loved! Thanks to all who joined us.

Happy Birthday Dr. Seuss

We had a party (on Friday)! Harper made The Cat in the Hat, hat. We ate Dr. Seuss themed cupcakes! Thanks, Trophy Cupcakes. Yummers!! And we read each of our favorite Dr. Seuss books. Oh, The Places You’ll Go, The Lorax, Horton Hears a Who, and One Fish Two Fish Red Fish Blue Fish. Can you guess which is my favorite? Which is yours?

Happy Birthday Dr. Seuss. Thank you for all of the imaginative stories. We treasure them.

i don’t know, what do you want?

I would love to press a button and magically have dinner appear. But realistically this is what happens in my home. Twice a week (okay, maybe three times) at around 3pm, I email Justin and ask him what he wants for dinner. Which translates to, will you bring something home for dinner. And we go through the whole, I don’t know, what do you want routine. I know I can’t be the only one who does this, right?

Damn Jetsons!

don’t walk…run!

Friday, while Judah was at his first sleepover, we took Harper out for a special treat! Just Dad, Harper, and Mom. Actually our first time alone with Harper in as long as we can remember. It was great! We went to Molly Moon’s for some ice cream. And OH YUM! So when I say don’t walk…run! I mean it, run to Molly Moon’s and get the coconut chunk ice cream sundae. So delicious. If I could, I would drive there right now for another one. And another. And another.

Side note. It’s not just because I’m pregnant that this was so delicious. Harper and Justin found it to be just as scrumptious!!
